Sand Stone

It is a sedimentary, rock composed of quartz,feldspar with a fine grain size of 0.05-2.0 mm. Layers of sand accumulated due to sedimentation in water (lake) or air (desert). These layers are compacted by overburden and bound by mineral precipitation like Silica & Calcium Carbonate.
